Expanded Beach Cleanups

In collaboration with the Ocean Recovery Community Alliance (ORCA), we will conduct organized beach cleanups throughout the season.

Daily Beach Cleanup Crew

As the primary sponsor of the Business Association’s Beach Cleanup Crew, MBF helps ensure Misquamicut stays clean and welcoming every morning throughout the summer.

Dog Waste Stations Installed

New doggie bag dispensers will be placed in key areas along Atlantic Avenue to promote responsible pet ownership.

Compost Pilot Program

A community food scrap collection initiative helping reduce landfill waste and support sustainability efforts in Misquamicut.

1. Register: Sign up by sending an email to misquamicutbeachfoundation@gmail.com. Include your full name, address, email, and phone number, and write “compost community” in the subject line. Someone will respond to you promptly to complete the enrollment process.
2. Collect: separate your household food scraps, including meat, bones, dairy, and spoiled food.
3. Drop Off: Bring your food scraps weekly between May 25 and October 15 to the local collection site.

Suggested Donation $50, includes a cute kitchen canister for food scrap collection
